You are a motivated and experienced engineer with extensive knowledge of the security systems industry, The role will involve the day-to-day installation, programming, commissioning, system testing and maintenance of electronic security systems at client premises. As a minimum requirement this will include Intruder, CCTV, and Access Control systems. In some circumstances, you may also be required to carry out the same responsibilities for Fire Alarm systems.
You are the face of the company and have excellent communication skills, acting as an ambassador to position the company's reputation as a leading and respected employer.
DUTIES INCLUDE
Delivering high calibre customer service at all times
Conduct regular scheduled system maintenance visits
Conduct site surveys, risk assessments and reporting findings
Complete necessary on-site documentation for customer files
Install, programme, commission, test and maintain electronic security systems
Provide main office with daily PDA job call-out reports
EXPERIENCE:
Must have a good awareness of industry codes and standards
Work within the guidelines and processes as set out by the company
Ability to fault find accurately
SKILLS, ABILITIES & PERSONAL QUALITIES:
Competent using technology such as laptops, measuring devices, smart phones etc.
Confident IT skills in the use of Microsoft office software such as Word and Excel as this is required for completion of reports, timesheets, asset registers etc.
Good Customer service skills as you will be dealing with our high-end clients on a day to day basis.
Excellent troubleshooting skills
Ability to work on own initiative
Knowledge of relevant industry standards
Full clean driving licence

Your normal days and hours of work are Monday to Thursday from 8.30am to 5.00pm and Friday until 4.00pm. You will be expected to keep your working hours flexible and additional hours of work may be required as business circumstances dictate.
The Company will supply you with Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) and uniform at the Company's expense.
You will be provided with a mobile phone, laptop, and PDA to carry out your role and appropriate test equipment suitable for the role.
You will be provided with a company van or car plus fuel card therefore require a full UK license.
NB: Successful applicants will be required to undergo a Police/Garda criminal check, financial credit check and be security screened to the PSA74:2019 & BS7858. Permanent offer of employment is subject to successful security clearance.
