The Role
As a Fire & Security Service Engineer, you will carry out servicing, maintenance, repairs, and fault diagnosis on a wide range of fire and security systems.
You'll work with industry-leading brands such as Texecom, Paxton, Hikvision, and Honeywell, ensuring systems are fully operational, compliant, and performing to the highest standards.
This is a hands-on, varied role where no two days are the same - ideal for an engineer who enjoys solving problems and delivering first-class service.
Key Responsibilities

• Service, maintain, and inspect fire alarms, intruder alarms, CCTV, and access control systems.
• Diagnose faults efficiently and provide effective, professional solutions.
• Complete PPM (planned preventative maintenance) and attend reactive call-outs.
• Ensure all work complies with BS 5839, PD 6662, EN 50131, and NSI/SSAIB standards.
• Produce accurate service reports and recommend remedial or upgrade works.
• Advise clients on system use, compliance, and improvement opportunities.
• Follow all health & safety and company procedures at all times.

What We're Looking For

• Proven experience as a Fire & Security Service Engineer.
• Strong knowledge of systems such as Texecom, Paxton, Hikvision, Honeywell (or similar).
• Understanding of BS 5839, BS 7671, and EN 50131 regulations.
• FIA units or equivalent fire alarm training (desirable).
• ECS/CSCS card (beneficial - training can be provided).
• Excellent fault-finding and diagnostic ability.
• Full UK driving licence (essential).
