Job Description

Ahmarra installations are a bespoke joinery fit out contractor specialising in commercial, residential and luxury hotel projects in London. Our dedicated teams work closely with contractors, designers, and architects to provide a complete service for their fire door installation and architectural joinery requirements.

To support our continued growth we are looking for a Fire Door Installers/Carpenters to join our team.

Summary Of Role:



Key Roles and Responsibilities



As a Fire Door Installer/Carpenter, your responsibilities will include:

Installation of fire door sets All aspects of fire door maintenance Working on your own as well as part of a team, working closely with others to solve problems as and when they arise Liaising with colleagues and managers on a daily basis Carrying out fire door assessments and record findings Ability to interpret and adhere to the manufacturer's specifications, ensuring that compliance is always at the forefront of all works

Person Specification:



To excel in this role, you should possess the following qualifications, experience, and attributes:

Previous experience working as a carpenter Be able to communicate effectively and courteously with work colleagues An understanding of the importance of compliant installation within the fire safety sector NVQ Level 2 or equivalent qualification in joinery or other relevant trade, or equivalent level of competence obtained from on-the-job experience A good awareness and understanding of Health & Safety on site Ability to diagnose/problem solve CSCS Card (Blue skilled CSCS minimum) Full toolkit to carry out the works required Clean driving licence and based in or with easy access to Central London PAYE only
Job Type: Full-time

Pay: 22.50-25.00 per hour
