Job Title: Fire Door Carpenter

Job Summary:

Are you a skilled and dedicated Carpenter/Joiner with expertise in fire door installation and maintenance? Legacy GLM Group is currently seeking a talented Fire Door Carpenter/Joiner to join our client's team in the Portsmouth area. This is a unique opportunity to play a crucial role in enhancing fire safety measures and ensuring the integrity of buildings through the installation and maintenance of fire doors.

Key Responsibilities:



Install, repair, and maintain fire doors, frames, and associated hardware in accordance with industry standards and BM Trada Q-Mark regulations. Conduct inspections and assessments to identify fire door deficiencies and recommend appropriate corrective actions. Collaborate with project teams to ensure fire doors are integrated seamlessly into building designs and renovations. Stay updated on industry best practices and changes in fire safety regulations pertaining to fire door installation and maintenance. Provide guidance and support to colleagues and clients on fire door-related matters.

Requirements:



Proven experience as a Carpenter/Joiner with a specialisation in fire door installation and maintenance. In-depth knowledge of fire door regulations, building codes, and relevant industry standards. Strong carpentry and joinery skills, with a focus on precision and attention to detail. Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team. Excellent communication skills for interacting with clients, colleagues, and project stakeholders. Must have full driving licence
