About the Role

We are looking for an experienced

Fire Door Installer/Maintainer

with a

minimum of 4 years' experience

in fire door installation, maintenance, and remedial works to join our growing team.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in

FD30/FD60 fire door works

and a solid understanding of

fire safety regulations

and

industry standards

. You'll be responsible for installing new fire doors and carrying out remedial works across a range of sites, ensuring all installations meet the highest quality and compliance standards.

Ongoing

fire door and safety training

is provided to enhance and refresh your knowledge.

Key Responsibilities

Install and maintain FD30/FD60 fire doors to required standards Carry out remedial works and inspections on existing fire doors Use hand and power tools safely and efficiently Read and interpret drawings, specifications, and compliance documentation Ensure all work meets building regulations and fire safety requirements Collaborate with team members to deliver projects on time and to a high standard Complete professional finishes, including sealing and painting where required

Requirements

Minimum 4 years' experience

in fire door installation, maintenance, and remedial work

Valid CSCS card

(essential)

SMSTS or SSSTS certification

(advantageous) Proven background within the construction or fire safety sector Strong understanding of fire door regulations and best practices Full UK

driving licence

Willingness to travel up to

1.5 hours from home address

(fuel covered, company van potential) Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills Ability to work independently and as part of a professional team
