Overview

We are seeking a highly organised and skilled individual to manage the Fire door maintenance and installations department. The Fire Door Installation & Maintenance Administrator is responsible for coordinating and supporting the delivery of fire door inspections, maintenance, and replacement works. This role ensures smooth scheduling, accurate documentation, and compliant processing of all fire door-related activities, helping the organisation maintain high levels of safety and statutory compliance.

07:30-16:30, Monday to Friday

Peterborough (PE2) - on-site

Responsibilities

Process orders for replacement fire doors, including raising job sheets, providing quotations for works and relevant documentation. Book in maintenance checks and inspections to maintain security of fire doors. Ensure all works are tracked from instruction to completion, with accurate records maintained. Assist in ensuring all documentation meets fire safety and regulatory requirements. Upload certificates, reports, photos, and installation records to relevant systems. Prepare and issue quotes for fire door maintenance, repairs, and replacements. Act as a point of contact for enquiries relating to fire door works. Provide regular updates to clients, residents, and internal teams on job status and timescales.

Experience

Experience in an administrative, scheduling, or coordination role Strong organisational and time-management skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously. Excellent communication skills (both written and verbal).
