Fire Door Specialist - Joiner

. Founded in 2011 Total Fire Safety has, over the last 15 years, built a reputation as specialists in fire risk assessment and passive fire protection. Our services include fire risk assessments, fire door surveys, compartmentation (fire-stopping) surveys, fire door maintenance and installation, and remediation of non-compliant fire doors.


Your expertise will be valued and your skill set utilised as you'll be responsible for maintaining, installing, and repairing fire doors to the current British Standards. This role would suit those who are recently qualified NVQ 2/3 Carpentry and Joinery or those who are happy to provide a maintenance service 80% of the time.

What you receive for joining us:

We offer a competitive salary of

34,000 to 38,000 per annum

, with 23 days holiday per year plus Bank Holidays, company pension, and a company van with fuel card. You'll work a 42.5hrs per week with overnight stays when required as you'll be travelling to multiple sites nationwide. If you reside in the

Burton on Trent

area this would be ideal.

Here's a look at some of the things you'll be doing:

Install and maintain fire doors in line with manufacturers' specifications, BM TRADA accreditation, and BS 8214 standards Carry out compliant repairs and maintenance following manufacturer guidelines, BM TRADA standards, and BS 8214 Ensure a safe working environment by adhering to all Health & Safety policies, while delivering excellent customer service and professional conduct on-site Use smart devices to log work and take photos for reporting purposes

Can you show experience in some of these areas?

Have experience installing and maintaining fire doors to a compliant standard and hold relevant industry qualifications (e.g., BM TRADA, FIRAS, or equivalent) Possess a valid CSCS card (Level 2 or 3 in joinery) and are comfortable using smart devices for work reporting Hold or are able to obtain a DBS certificate Have a strong attention to detail and a commitment to quality work
