Overview
We are seeking a talented and motivated Fire Engineer to join our team. As a Fire Engineer, you will be responsible for ensuring the design and implementation of fire protection and life safety systems in buildings and structures. We are looking for someone with expertise in UK Engineering Design - MEP and Mechanical Design, who is passionate about creating safe and functional environments.
Responsibilities

• Collaborate with architects and other engineering disciplines to integrate fire protection systems into building designs
• Design, develop, and review fire protection drawings, specifications, and calculations
• Conduct site inspections and provide technical support during construction
• Perform fire risk assessments and provide guidance on compliance with relevant codes and standards
• Work closely with clients to understand their specific needs and develop innovative solutions
• Keep abreast of industry developments and participate in continuing education and professional development activities

• Bachelor's degree in Fire Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field
• Chartered Engineer status or working towards chartership
• Proficiency in UK Engineering Design - MEP and Mechanical Design
• Strong understanding of fire protection and life safety codes and standards
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
• Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines effectively

• Reviewing building plans and specifications to identify fire protection requirements
• Conducting calculations and simulations to ensure the effectiveness of fire protection systems
• Communicating with clients and project team members to address design challenges and provide technical support
• Attending meetings and site visits to ensure compliance with fire safety regulations
• Researching and proposing innovative fire protection solutions to improve building design
