The Role
As a Fire Engineer, you will be responsible for installation of addressable and non-addressable fire systems, small works and large scale project works.
Key Responsibilities
Installation of fire alarms.
Complete and compile maintenance engineer reports and site survey reports.
Respond to fault calls for fire alarm systems.
Maintain professional and clear customer contact, ensuring timely and accurate responses to all inquiries.
Build and maintain strong relationships with clients while upholding Photuris' positive reputation.
Participate in the on-call rota, weekend work, and overtime as required by the company.
Requirements
Proven experience in the Fire Industry - 3 years Minimum ideally
Strong fault-finding skills with the ability to resolve issues logically and efficiently.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to prepare reports and complete necessary documentation.
Ability to understand and interpret drawings.
Initiative-driven with strong attention to detail and excellent organizational and time management skills.
Educate clients on available system alternatives and solutions when applicable.
Nice to have (not essential)
Experience of working with leading manufacturers - GENT, Advanced, Morley Systems
Further Information
Must hold a full UK Driving Licence
Hours of Work: 45 hours per week, 8 am - 5 pm, Monday to Friday.
Location: Hull & the surrounding areas, with flexibility to travel throughout the UK as required. Hotel stays may be necessary on an occasional basis.
