Job Summary


We are seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable Safety Consultant to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of health and safety regulations and best practices, with the ability to conduct thorough assessments and provide actionable recommendations. This role is crucial in ensuring that our workplace remains safe and compliant with all relevant legislation.

Responsibilities



Conduct comprehensive safety audits and risk assessments to identify potential hazards. Perform root cause analysis for incidents and near misses, providing detailed reports on findings. Develop and implement safety policies and procedures tailored to the specific needs of the organisation. Provide training sessions on first aid, emergency response, and safety protocols for employees at all levels. Prepare clear and concise report writing on safety inspections, incidents, and recommendations for improvement. Collaborate with management to promote a culture of safety within the organisation. Stay updated on current health and safety legislation, ensuring compliance across all operations.

Experience



Proven experience in a safety consultant role or similar position within a relevant industry. Strong knowledge of health and safety regulations, standards, and best practices. Experience in conducting root cause analysis and developing effective corrective actions. Proficiency in first aid practices; certification is preferred but not mandatory. Excellent report writing skills with attention to detail; ability to communicate findings effectively to diverse audiences. Strong analytical skills with the ability to assess complex situations quickly and accurately.

Pay: 34,831.29-57,429.76 per year
