Who you are (skills and qualifications):



Fire Risk qualification, NEBOSH or equivalent

(essential).

2+ years' experience in Fire Risk Assessments, to Level 3 minimum, and Fire Door Inspections - You need to be confident in your ability to assess and advise. Strong knowledge of fire safety legislation, compliance, and best practices (a sound understanding of property and construction processes would help too!) Excellent communication skills both written and verbal - you'll be working closely with clients and colleagues. Driven to make sure all the little details are noticed, we much prefer a methodical approach the ensure the work is completed right, the first time. An interest in technology and creating solutions with it. A mindset for problem-solving and continuous improvement. Leadership qualities, you want to progress within your career and help others to grow within the team. Processes driven, you'll have responsibility for building the Fire and Health and Safety department within the business. A commercial mindset with a knack for finding opportunities.

- Health & Safety qualifications - If you have them, great! If not, we can discuss development opportunities.

What you'll be doing:



Carrying out Level 3 Fire Risk Assessments, including compartmentation surveys, across a range of sectors following relevant legislations and standards. Conducting Fire Door Inspections, identifying risks, and advising on corrective actions. Working closely with clients, giving expert advice, actionable solutions and great customer service. Offering advice on designing and constructing systems that improve fire safety in buildings. Helping to implement new inspection and reporting software and then using this for site surveys, reporting and client portal/dashboard Taking ownership of fire safety consultancy, helping develop and refine our service offering.

Conducting building H&S Audits--an opportunity to broaden your skills beyond Fire (if you haven't already!) Keeping ahead of industry changes, legislation, and best practices.

The Package:
