We have a rewarding opportunity for an experienced, knowledgeable and driven fire safety professional to join our Health and Safety Team.



As Fire Safety Officer, you'll play a crucial role in ensuring fire safety across the organisation. You will ensure regulatory compliance and best practice, while supporting the protection of people and property.



Variety is a given with a wide range of departments, services and buildings including schools and partner organisations that purchase our service level agreement.



You will provide professional and competent advice, assistance and strategic direction, in a cycle of assessing, monitoring and reviewing fire safety arrangements. You'll inspect and complete fire safety audit reports and implement the delivery of appropriate actions and recommendations when found, to ensure fire safety compliance in corporate buildings and schools. As and when necessary, the role will involve working closely with the Local Fire and Rescue Service, Partners and other organisations.



The successful candidate will bring a recognised qualification in Fire Safety and membership of a professional body such as the IFE, along with extensive knowledge and hands-on experience of fire safety compliance and emergency response.



They will have strong communication skills and will be experienced in drafting, reviewing and delivering fire training and preparing and implementing strategies, policies, reports and procedures. Confidently tailoring your communications to engage effectively and ensure clarity across diverse audiences.
