Qualification - You will have a Fire safety related qualification e.g. C08 Fire Risk Management in Residential Properties with a track record of success in a Surveying role within housing.
Casual Car Documentation- The successful candidate will be a designated Casual Car User which means that car journeys may be necessary on an occasional basis, but are not essential to the role. If you do drive, you must always hold a full valid driving licence and provide your own car for use at work, as well as provide all the appropriate documentation. You will receive an allowance per mile of business use.
Driving Licence - The successful candidate should hold a full clean driving licence as you will be required to drive a vehicle adhering to council regulations.
This role will work within the Assets and Repairs team in Housing Services, responsible for supporting the fire safety team to contribute to the achievement of strategic priorities by delivering high quality services including inspections and audits, compliance monitoring, documentation and reporting, training and education and continuous improvement.

About the Candidate
You will have a Fire safety related qualification e.g. C08 Fire Risk Management in Residential Properties with a track record of success in a Surveying role within housing. You must have experience of delivering high-quality services gained in a multi-site, complex fire safety environment with a proven track record of achieving and sustaining fire safety compliance in the post Grenfell era, including experience of carrying out fire risk assessments and inspections in residential buildings. You will also have knowledge of fire protection systems, emergency procedures and evacuation plans with extensive knowledge of UK fire safety regulations, codes and standards, including the Regulatory Reform Fire Safety Order 2005.
