Description



Strathlothian Fire And Security Ltd is a relatively new company who is looking to recruit an apprentice to support with the business demands. This is a great time to become part of the team as the successful apprentice will grow and develop with the company.



Strathlothian Fire And Security Ltd are keen to offer individuals the chance to secure a career within the fire and security sector.



These will be both full time with block training release to Glasgow.



Each day can be different depending on the client and jobs that are to be completed.



This will include but not exhaustive to the installation, repair and maintenance of fire and security systems.



Entry requirements



Maths and English GCSE's at grade 4 or above. If you do not have this, you will be required to sit this along side the apprenticeship.

16- 20 year olds only No criminal record and need to be able to pass an enhanced DBS Hold a drivers licence or the commitment to gain one by the end of the apprenticeship

Training to be provided



Skills for Security will deliver the apprenticeship training in block release (one week in every eight weeks).



You will be required to complete all training tasks allocated during your block release weeks at the training centre and gather any site evidence needed to supplement your studies.

The apprenticeship is 36 months and therefore, full commitment is required.

Once completing the apprenticeship successfully, you will become a full time Fire & Security Engineer with a company vehicle and progression within the business.

Working week Monday-Friday (7am-5pm times may vary)
