Overview

The Fire and Security Sales/Estimator position is a role that includes estimating tender opportunities from our clients, surveying sites and customer premises to design and propose system installations and offer maintenance contracts, maintaining and developing a relationship with our clients and creating new opportunities to tender and sell to new clients.

The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of fire and security systems, standards and regulations, alongside practical experience in the industry.

Duties

Design, check designs, write quotations, prepare costings, issue to clients within correct timescales. The systems will include and not be limited to Fire Alarms, Intruder Alarms, Access Control and CCTV. Management of the tender process, client relationships, meeting timescales and deadlines. Customer liaison, building and maintaining relationships. Collaboration with the Project and Engineering teams to ensure project handover and delivery. Report to the Directors and contribute to sales strategy development. Stay updated on the latest fire safety legislation, security standards, technologies, and best practices to enhance overall standards.

Skills

Strong knowledge of fire safety regulations and security standards (e.g. BS 5839). Proficiency in designing fire alarm and security systems tailored to various building types. Attention to detail in both design work and documentation processes. Strong computer literacy. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team. Excellent communication skills.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: 30,000.00-40,000.00 per year
