The Role
As a Fire & Security Service Engineer, you'll be responsible for the servicing, maintenance, and fault diagnosis of a range of fire and security systems, working in line with current industry standards and company procedures.
This is a field-based role covering a regular service area with occasional call-outs as part of a rota.
Key Responsibilities
Service and maintain:
Fire alarm systems
Intruder alarms
CCTV systems (IP & analogue)
Access control systems
Diagnose faults and complete repairs efficiently
Complete PPMs to a high standard
Carry out remedial works and some installation tasks
Provide system demonstrations and explain false alarm causes to customers
Deliver excellent customer service on every visit
Participate in the out-of-hours on-call rota (1 in 5)
Ensure compliance with health & safety and information security policies
About You
Essential:
Minimum
3 years' experience
in a fire & security service/repair role
Strong experience with intruder alarms (e.g. Galaxy, Menvier, Scantronic)
Experience servicing and maintaining fire alarm systems, including PPMs
Knowledge of CCTV and access control systems (including IP/networked systems)
Excellent customer service and communication skills
Full, clean UK driving licence
Desirable:
Experience carrying out extinguisher PPMs

Working in location's such as: Northampton, Leicester, Nottingham, Midlands
