Job description

Experienced Fire & Intruder/ Security/ CCTV/ Access Control Service Engineer with an expert knowledge to solve a wide range of technical and mechanical faults.

Essential Group meets British Standards and is accredited to SSAIB, ECA, FSA Safe contractor and BAFE.

Overtime and 'On Call' bonus raises the potential remuneration to approx.

75,000 per annum.

As part of our business development plan, Essential Group are seeking an experienced Service Engineer to join our friendly team to share servicing and fault finding Intruder alarms, Fire alarms, CCTV, Perimeter Protection, Gate Automation, Access Control & Emergency Lighting.

The successful candidates will be expected to carry out maintenance and problem solve domestic and commercial clients in London and The Home Counties.

A core duty will be supporting the service desk to identify correct replacement components, upgrades and recommendations to help quote customers, following call outs and routine visits.

Being the engineer of last resort and to mentor the engineer team.

After the initial induction and training period the candidates will be working remotely with their time split to lone working or as part of a service team

Main disciplines and experience required

Fire Alarms: conventional and addressable Intruder/ Security Alarms Access control/ Door entry Gate Automation Perimeter security Integrated systems Dual Com monitoring IP & Analogue CCTV networked systems Nano beams Electrical background Knowledge of App based systems Knowledge of all types of communication devices
