Job Overview
Due to our continued success, we are seeking an experienced Sprinkler Maintenance Engineer to join our team. This field-based role will involve servicing and maintaining fire sprinkler systems across a variety of domestic and residential properties throughout the central belt of Scotland.
Key Responsibilities
Servicing and maintaining sprinkler systems across a range of residential and domestic buildings
Installation, servicing, maintenance, and repair of fire sprinkler systems
Conducting regular testing, including 5-point flow tests, to ensure compliance with regulations
Diagnosing and repairing faults, ensuring systems remain fully operational
Performing system upgrades and modifications to meet evolving client requirements
Ensuring all work is carried out in line with British Standards and health and safety regulations
Maintaining accurate records, including service reports and maintenance documentation
Monitoring and maintaining stock control, completing full reporting on internal systems
Taking pride in your work and the maintenance of your equipment and company vehicle
Requirements
Essential:
Desired 3 years experience in fire sprinkler system maintenance
Strong technical knowledge of fire sprinkler systems & BS 9251
Excellent fault diagnosis and problem-solving abilities
Ability to interpret technical drawings and system specifications
Familiarity with British Standards and fire safety regulations
Strong organisational and time-management skills
Full clean UK driving licence
Desirable:
Additional experience in installation of fire sprinkler systems
Knowledge of a range of fire protection systems
Experience with preventative maintenance planning
