This role is for RAAM Construction, which is part of the ABCA Group.

We are seeking a skilled Fire Stopper with a focus on fire door safety and passive fire protection. The ideal candidate will be responsible for performing high-quality fire stopping installations and ensuring that fire door systems comply with the latest safety regulations and client requirements. This role involves working with a range of fire-stopping systems, interpreting site documentation, and maintaining rigorous health and safety standards

What You'll Be Doing

Install fire doors as per the manufacturer's specifications and fire safety standards. Perform minor repairs and adjustments to ensure doors self-close and latch correctly. Coordinate with relevant teams for corrective actions when required Document work activities in compliance logs. Ensure strict adherence to health and safety protocols on all job sites.

What You'll Bring

Essential:

NVQ Level 2 in Passive Fire Protection Full UK Driving Licence Proven experience in a fire-stopping or passive fire protection role Strong knowledge of fire safety regulations and passive fire protection systems Competence in using a variety of fire stopping products and hand tools Ability to work independently or as part of a team in a fast-paced environment Strong communication and documentation skills
Desirable:

Knowledge of BM Trada fire door installations and inspection standards
