Are you hands-on, reliable, and eager to build a career in fire protection? We're looking for a proactive and hardworking Fitter's Mate to support our installation team with gas suppression systems.

About the Role

As a Fitter's Mate, you'll assist experienced engineers with the installation, servicing, and maintenance of fire suppression systems across a variety of sites, including data centres, server rooms, and commercial buildings.

Key Responsibilities

Support installation engineers with tools, materials, and general site duties Help install pipework, cylinders, and control equipment Maintain cleanliness and safety on-site Load/unload vehicles and manage equipment Follow instructions and learn technical tasks on the job Complete basic documentation when required

Requirements

Some site or trade experience preferred (training will be provided) Willingness to learn and take direction Physically fit and comfortable with manual work Good communication and teamwork skills CSCS/ECS card beneficial Driving license an advantage, but not essential Must be punctual, dependable, and safety-conscious Willingness to travel to sites throughout the UK
