Job Summary

The Fire Watcher plays a critical role in ensuring safety on construction sites by monitoring for fire hazards during hot work operations. This position requires a keen eye for detail and the ability to respond quickly to potential fire risks. The Fire Watcher will work closely with construction teams to maintain a safe working environment, ensuring compliance with safety regulations and protocols.

Duties

Monitor work areas for fire hazards, particularly during welding, cutting, or grinding activities. Maintain clear communication with construction teams and report any unsafe conditions immediately. Use fire extinguishers and other safety equipment effectively in case of an emergency. Conduct regular inspections of the worksite to identify potential fire risks. Ensure that all hot work permits are properly filled out and adhered to. Assist in maintaining a clean and organized work environment to minimize fire risks. Collaborate with site management to implement safety measures and protocols.

Skills

Familiarity with construction management practices and procedures. Previous experience on construction sites with an understanding of safety protocols.
Job Type: Temporary
Contract length: 1 week

Pay: 16.50-17.00 per hour
