FIRE PLACE INSTALLER/MULTI-SKILLED TRADESPERSON (FULL TRAINING PROVIDED)

MONDAY - FRIDAY (WEEKENDS OFF) - FULL TIME - 35 HRS

LOCATION: MONTPELIER, BS6 5EE

Join Period Fireplaces, the leading provider of the restoration and installation of surrounds, stoves and fireplaces across Bristol and the surrounding areas. From fitting gas fires, electric fires and wood burners to the creation of bespoke surrounds, Period Fireplaces is looking for a practical, motivated individual who has an interest in the restoration of fireplaces, the expansion of their construction work knowledge and is a team player.

We are ideally looking for someone who has prior experience with either metal work, wood work or gas work. However, we are open to applicants with less experience but have a genuine interest in this type of work. No day is the same and you will be supported by our experienced employees to develop your skills in a hands-on, rewarding environment.

The role will involve a variety of tasks being -

Assisting with the manufacturing and restoration of fireplaces and surrounds.

On site installations

Operating power/hand tools and equipment safely

Must haves & Qualifications -

Valid UK Drivers Licence (or have a test booked)

Prior or some construction experience or experience in a physical labour environment

Ability to work from heights safely

Basic carpentry or some knowledge of metal work

Skills or interest in the fireplace trade

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: 22,000.00-28,000.00 per year
