Job Overview:
We are seeking experienced Fire Stoppers for a one-month project in Brighton, focusing on passive fire protection installations. Upon successful completion, there is potential for ongoing work on various projects within a one-hour travel radius.
Key Responsibilities:
Install fire-stopping materials such as batt and mastic systems, fire-resistant sealants, and cavity barriers.
Apply fire-resistant compounds to seal penetrations and joints in walls and floors, ensuring compliance with fire safety regulations.
Ensure all installations meet current fire safety codes and standards.
Conduct inspections and assessments to identify areas requiring fire-stopping solutions.
Collaborate with site managers and other trades to ensure seamless integration of fire-stopping systems.
Maintain accurate records of work performed and materials used.
Requirements:
Proven experience in fire-stopping installation and maintenance, including compound applications.
In-depth knowledge of fire safety regulations and building codes.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
Excellent communication skills; must be able to communicate effectively in English.
Own vehicle and tools are essential.
Valid CSCS card preferred.
