Job Summary


We are seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable First Aid Instructor to join our Northwind Healthcare team!

The ideal candidate will be responsible for educating individuals on first aid techniques, ensuring that they are well-prepared to respond effectively in emergency situations. This role requires strong communication skills, organisational abilities, and a passion for teaching others the importance of first aid.

Responsibilities



Deliver engaging and informative first aid training sessions to diverse groups of participants. Present course materials clearly and effectively, ensuring comprehension among all attendees. Manage classroom behaviour and maintain a positive learning environment. Evaluate participant performance through assessments and provide constructive feedback. Stay updated with the latest first aid guidelines and best practices to ensure training content is current. Collaborate with other instructors and staff to enhance the educational experience. Maintain accurate records of attendance and participant progress. Utilise IT tools to support training delivery and participant engagement.

Qualifications



Level 3 training and education At least 2 years experience teaching first aid or experience working as a health care professional. A valid first aid certification is essential; additional qualifications in teaching or education are advantageous. Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to motivate and inspire learners. Excellent communication skills in English, both verbal and written. Organisational skills to manage multiple training sessions and participant needs effectively. Knowledge of behaviour management techniques to foster a conducive learning environment. Proficiency in IT systems relevant to training delivery is preferred but not required.
Job Type: Part-time

Pay: 100.00-150.00 per day
