About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and enthusiastic First Aid Trainer to join our team on a freelance basis. This role is ideal for someone who is already working as a trainer and is looking to take on additional work to supplement their current schedule.

You will be delivering engaging and practical First Aid at Work, EFAW and PFA training sessions to a variety of clients across southern England. We'll contact you when we have extra courses or last-minute cancellations that we can't accommodate internally.

Key Responsibilities

Deliver high-quality First Aid training in accordance with current legislation and recognised awarding body standards. Ensure all learners are supported and assessed fairly, adapting delivery to meet a range of learning needs. Maintain accurate course records, assessments, and certification paperwork. Represent our organisation professionally and uphold our reputation for excellent training delivery.

Essential Requirements

Minimum of Level 3 Award in Education and Training (AET) or higher (PTLLS, CTLLS, DTLLS, or equivalent). Current First Aid at Work qualification from a recognised awarding body. At least 1 year of experience delivering First Aid training. Full UK driving licence and access to a reliable vehicle. Willingness to travel throughout southern England (occasional travel to the West Midlands). Proficient in spoken and written English.
