Job summary

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate First Aider Team Leader to join our team.

The First Aider will be responsible for providing immediate first aid medical assistance and care to individuals who are injured or experiencing a medical emergency. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of first aid principles, excellent communication skills and the ability to remain calm and composed in high-pressure situations.

You will work as a part of an established event leadership team in the largest events in the region.

Section 3 - Key responsibilities (brief summary)

Emergency response and medical care: (Leader to ensure this)

Assess and prioritise medical emergencies, injuries, or illnesses, and provide appropriate first aid care in a timely manner. Administer first aid treatment for common injuries, such as cuts, burns, fractures, and sprains. Provide initial care and support for individuals experiencing medical conditions, such as allergic reactions, seizures, or cardiac events. Perform basic life support techniques, including cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR), as necessary. Recognise and respond to life-threatening situations, initiating emergency procedures and contacting medical professionals or emergency services, when required. Knowing when to escalate, and to whom, and not acting above your level of training for a Level 1 First Aider.
Essential Qualifications:

Valid Emergency First Aid at Work certificate issued in the UK.

Valid Enhanced DBS disclosure issued within 3 years from date of issue.

Job Type: Zero hours contract

Pay: 15.00-25.00 per hour

Schedule:

Monday to Friday Weekend availability
