Job Description

The First Contact Physiotherapist (FCP) will provide expert clinical assessment, diagnosis, and management of MSK conditions to patients at the first point of contact within Park Medical Practice. You will manage an autonomous caseload, ensuring that all patients receive evidence-based, patient-centred care. The postholder will work both independently and collaboratively with the broader healthcare team, contributing to the practices ethos of high-quality service delivery and continuous improvement. Key aspects of the role include: Conducting comprehensive clinical assessments and formulating individualised management plans for MSK patients.

Delivering patient education and self-management strategies. Ensuring accurate and timely clinical record-keeping in line with information governance requirements. Working effectively within the MDT to ensure integrated care pathways for patients. Appropriate referral for further investigations or specialist input as required.

Actively contributing to service development and quality improvement projects. Maintaining up-to-date clinical skills and knowledge through ongoing professional development.
