Job Description

Clinical Practice Independently evaluate, diagnose, and manage musculoskeletal (MSK) presentations, including intricate cases. Request necessary investigations (such as imaging and blood tests) and make suitable referrals. Create self-management plans to encourage behavioural change and facilitate recovery. Utilise the full extent of practice, including prescribing and injection therapy.

Collaboration & Development Engage within a GP-based multidisciplinary team (MDT), nurturing strong relationships with practice staff. Educate colleagues on MSK triage pathways and offer guidance. Support clinical audits and initiatives for service improvement. Leadership & Learning Take part in supervision and peer reflection sessions.

Continue professional development in line with the HEE Roadmap to Practice. Contribute to clinical governance and mentoring where appropriate.
