Job Summary

We are currently seeking

skilled and reliable First Fix Joiners

to join our growing team in Nottingham. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in first fix carpentry, excellent attention to detail, and the ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team.

Key Responsibilities

Perform all aspects of

first fix joinery

including stud walling, joisting, door frames, staircases, and sub-flooring Interpret technical drawings and plans accurately Ensure all work is completed to a high standard and complies with health and safety regulations Collaborate effectively with other trades on-site Report progress and any issues to site supervisors or project managers Maintain tools and equipment in good working condition Adhere to project timelines and deadlines

Requirements

Proven experience in first fix joinery (

minimum 2 years preferred

) NVQ Level 2 or 3 in Carpentry & Joinery (or equivalent) Ability to read and interpret construction drawings Own tools and transport preferred

Valid CSCS card (essential)

Good communication and teamwork skills Punctual, reliable, and detail-oriented
