Job Description

We are looking for a strong leader to be part of our CDC Management Team. Our CDCs play a pivotal role in the success of our business and are responsible for ensuring that we deliver an excellent service to an extensive network of local customers. The Evening Shift Manager will effectively manage all aspects of the shift operation in order to achieve the best results within budgeted costs. You will need to be a confident and have strong leadership skills. A key part of this role will be to ensure that accurate loading of the delivery fleet is achieved on time. Working independently, you will be relied upon to adhere to standard operating procedures and proactively seek solutions when problems arise.

About You

Needless to say, you will be comfortable working permanent Evening shifts and enjoy the responsibility that goes with it. You will be able to demonstrate effective leadership skills. You will have knowledge of health and safety and you will have excellent communication skills, both written and verbal. You will have the ability to independently manage and motivate a team of Warehouse and Driver Colleagues
