The Role
The club is seeking a proactive and motivated individuals to join our first team performance department on a voluntary work placement for the duration of the 2024/2025 season. This volunteer position offers a unique opportunity to contribute to the performance of the first team, with direct access to the manager and coaching staff.
Your role will cover a broad range of different activities on a day-to-day basis across the club.

About You
The successful candidate will ideally have prior experience, a postgraduate student or a recent graduate. Preferably aiming to secure a career in professional football in the future.

Availability to attend all home games some training sessions and shorter distance away games
Positive and professional attitude, with an ability to meet the deadlines of the weekly match analysis requirements
Excellent problem-solving skills
Duties
Supporting the analysis needs of the first team both pre and post games
Filming (wide angle) games and training
Live and Post-Event Coding of matches and training
Supporting the creation of pre/post-match reports supported by coach requested clips
Supporting the creation and storage of individual and team archives
Essential Skills
IT literate with access to own laptop/computer
Experience of using basic performance analysis equipment (Camera and Tripod)
Knowledge of Analysis Software
Understanding of how to analyse and breakdown the principles of football
Desirable Skills
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Previous experience working within the football industry
Full driving license
Based in or around Greater Manchester
Other Key Information
You will be mainly based at the J.Davidson Stadium and the club's Egerton training facility with flexibility to work from home when appropriate. Your working hours will suit the demands of the club and you will be required to work all home and some away matchdays. Due to these locations access to a car is essential. The successful applicant should expect to receive training to improve in all skills listed above.
