Job Overview

We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Sales Executive to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for driving sales growth and developing strong relationships with clients. The postholder is required to develop new business opportunities by telephoning fish and chip shops, and maintaining the portfolio of clients gained through direct sales.

Responsibilities

1. Identify prospective customers by using business directories and following leads.

2. Contact new and previous customers to discuss their needs and to explain how our company can service their needs

3. Answering client questions about credit terms, products, prices and availability.

4. Negotiate prices and terms of sales and service agreements

5. Submit orders for processing

6. Maintaining a portfolio of clients that have been secured and keeping client records up to date

7. Obtaining balance of payment from clients within payment terms and minimising any overdue debtor accounts.

8. Collaborate with colleagues to exchange information, such as information on selling strategies and marketing information

9. Undertake such other duties as may be reasonably expected at this level

Skills, Knowledge, Experience:

Some experience in a sales role, preferably within a similar industry - or experience working in other roles within the seafood industry Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to engage effectively with clients at all levels. Excellent negotiation skills and a results-oriented mindset. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment. Experienced Microsoft Office user. Experience in using CRM software would be an advantage.

Pay: 25,000.00-28,000.00 per year

Expected hours: 37.5 per week
