Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated Fryer to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing and cooking food items to the highest standards, ensuring consistency and quality. The Fryer will play a vital part in delivering exceptional dining experiences by maintaining efficient kitchen operations and adhering to food safety standards.

Responsibilities

Prepare and cook food items using frying equipment, ensuring proper temperature control and cooking times. Assist in the preparation of ingredients for meal assembly, including breading, marinating, and portioning. Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the fryer station, including sanitising equipment and work surfaces regularly. Monitor food quality during cooking to ensure presentation, taste, and texture meet established standards. Follow all food safety regulations and hygiene procedures to ensure a safe working environment. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely service during busy periods. Restock supplies as needed and report any equipment malfunctions or safety concerns promptly.

Experience

Previous experience in food preparation or cooking within a restaurant or catering environment is desirable. Knowledge of kitchen safety practices and food hygiene standards is essential. Experience with meal preparation, especially frying techniques, will be advantageous. Familiarity with food safety regulations and handling procedures is preferred. Prior experience in serving or working in a fast-paced kitchen environment is beneficial but not mandatory.
