Responsibilities
Oversee daily food preparation and cooking processes to ensure quality and efficiency
Supervise and manage restaurant or hotel staff, including training and development programmes
Coordinate food production activities to meet customer demands while maintaining safety standards
Lead team management efforts, fostering a collaborative and motivated work environment
Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and best practices in food handling and storage
Manage service delivery, including serving guests and ensuring customer satisfaction
Oversee kitchen operations, including inventory control, ordering supplies, and maintaining cleanliness
Implement operational policies and procedures to optimise efficiency and service quality
Handle guest or client complaints professionally, resolving issues promptly
Collaborate with other departments such as baristas or catering teams to ensure seamless service delivery
Qualifications
Proven supervising experience within a restaurant, hotel, or hospitality setting
Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage diverse teams effectively
Extensive knowledge of food preparation, cooking techniques, and culinary practices
Experience in food safety standards and food production processes
Familiarity with kitchen operations and hospitality industry regulations
Excellent organisational skills with the ability to multitask under pressure
Previous experience in restaurant or hotel management is highly desirable
Knowledge of serving protocols and customer service excellence is essential
Additional skills such as barista experience or hospitality background will be considered advantageous
