Summary

Tutor First is seeking a enthusiastic, creative and passionate Fitness Instructor to join our team in the UK. Based in our local community, this role is vital in promoting health and wellness among our young learners, aligning with our commitment to holistic education. You'll play a key role in shaping our children's fitness program and making a real difference in young people's lives by helping them develop a positive relationship with fitness and physical activity in a supportive, engaging environment.

Responsibilities

Lead engaging fitness sessions tailored for children aged 5-16 years. Develop fun and effective exercise routines that promote physical activity. Monitor and ensure the safety of all participants during activities. Collaborate with staff to integrate fitness into educational programs. Encourage healthy habits and active lifestyles among students. Adapt activities to suit different age groups and skill levels. Build positive relationships with children and maintain a safe, encouraging environment Maintain equipment and ensure the cleanliness of activity areas.

Qualifications

Proven experience in sports coaching or fitness instruction. Strong teaching skills with the ability to engage young children. Knowledge of anatomy relevant to physical activity. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to create fun, motivating, and safe exercise routines. Certification in first aid. Passion for promoting health and active lifestyles among children. Enhanced DBS check (or willingness to obtain one) Commitment to safeguarding and child protection
