Maintenance Fitter

We are currently looking for an experienced

Maintenance Fitter

to join our friendly team in Elstow, Bedfordshire.

Main Responsibilities

As the successful

Maintenance Fitter

, you'll provide an effective link between the Operations and Engineering team. Delivering a high level of service quality to varied Mechanical Engineering related activities.

You will be working closely with all members of the facility, reporting directly to the Mechanical Supervisor and Quarry Manager in effectively carrying out preventative maintenance tasks and responding in a timely manner to breakdown repairs with a keen eye for continuous improvement.

The Ideal Candidate

The ideal candidate will have previous

Maintenance Fitter

experience or experience in industrial maintenance (preferably on quarry sites) or be a competent auto mechanic although experience in similar industries will be considered.


The

Maintenance Fitter

will have the ability to find solutions to maintenance issues and complete preventive maintenance inspections on the mobile plant equipment.

Qualifications

Recognised apprenticeship or equivalent Computer literate. Familiarity with computer software (word, excel, etc.)
