We're looking for an experienced Structural Steel Fitter to join our team in Bracknell. You'll work on-site and in the workshop, fitting and assembling structural steel frames, beams, columns, and connections to drawings and specifications.
Key Responsibilities
Read and interpret structural drawings and erection plans Fit, align, and secure structural steel components using bolts, welds, or rivets Check levels, alignment, and tolerances using measuring tools Work safely with cranes, lifting gear, and hand/power tools Follow site safety rules and report any hazards or defects
What We're Looking For
Proven experience as a Structural Steel Fitter or Steel Erector Ability to read fabrication and erection drawings Valid CSCS card (blue or gold) Strong understanding of health and safety on construction sites Physically fit and comfortable working at height
