McGinley Supports Services are currently seeking an experienced Fitter Fabricator Mate to join our team working on the project in Birmingham.
Key Details:

• Role: Fitter Fabricator Mate
• Location: Birmingham
• Salary: xc2xa318.21 per hour
• Working Hours: 7:30 AM to 5:30 PM
• Contract: PAYE Contract
• Experience: 2+ years in a similar role
• Qualifications: Must hold a Green CSCS Card

As a Fitter Fabricator Mate on the HS2 project, your key responsibilities will include supporting fitters and fabricators in the assembly and installation of heavy mechanical and electrical systems, working on various tasks related to the M&E elements of the project. You will be involved in:

• Assisting fitters in the fabrication and installation of pipes, ducts, and other mechanical/electrical components.
• Preparing materials and tools for the fabrication process.
• Handling heavy machinery and equipment as required under supervision.
• Ensuring all health and safety standards are met while carrying out tasks.
• Supporting the team with site preparations, tool and material management, and general maintenance of the worksite.

What We Are Looking For:

• A minimum of 2 years' experience in a similar Fitter Fabricator role, preferably within the M&E or construction industry.
• A Green CSCS Card is essential for this role.
• Strong ability to follow instructions, work well within a team, and ensure safety standards are adhered to.
• Ability to lift and move heavy materials and equipment.
