Fitter - Plant and Tool Hire

Full-time, Permanent

Hours: Monday to Friday 7.30am to 5pm

Salary: Dependent Upon Experience

Established in March 2007, Richmond Plant Hire Limited is a family-owned plant and tool hire company based in Nottinghamshire and Lincolnshire. We are dedicated to delivering quality, excellence, and reliability to our customers at all times.

Covering the East Midlands, Richmond Plant Hire supplies and delivers to businesses and trades across Lincolnshire, Leicestershire, Nottinghamshire, Derbyshire and surrounding areas.

We currently have a vacancy at our depot in Newark for an experienced Plant Fitter on a full time and permanent basis.

The successful candidate will be joining our workshop team who strive to provide an exceptional service through the care and maintenance of our plant and tools.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

Responsibility for the cleaning, inspection, safety testing, presentation and maintenance of our equipment, to the highest standard Responsible for the repair and servicing of plant and tools Carrying out preventative maintenance to the company's construction equipment such as excavators, dumpers, rollers and telehandlers Quickly and effectively diagnose faults on equipment to ensure minimal downtime for our customers Follow safety and housekeeping standards in your area of work both in our workshop and at customer sites

The successful candidate must have the following:

A full, clean UK driving licence Mechanical experience in similar roles such as Plant Fitter, Service Fitter, Plant
Engineer, or Plant Mechanic

Diesel and Petrol machinery, Electrics and Hydraulic servicing experience would be an advantage We are looking for a fitter with a flexible approach, who can work within a team in a rewarding but demanding role Good communication skills The ability to work well both within a team and independently Strong initiative and capability within both the workshop and on site
Uniform will be provided

Pay: From 28,000.00 per year
