Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Fitter to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for assembling and fitting components in accordance with technical specifications and drawings. This role requires attention to detail, precision, and a strong understanding of mechanical systems. The Fitter will work collaboratively within a team environment to ensure that all products meet quality standards and are delivered on time.

Duties

Interpret technical drawings and specifications to assemble components accurately. Use hand tools, power tools, and machinery to fit parts together effectively. Conduct quality checks on assembled products to ensure compliance with standards. Maintain a clean and safe working environment by adhering to health and safety regulations. Collaborate with other team members to troubleshoot issues and improve assembly processes. Document work performed accurately for quality assurance purposes.

Experience

Previous experience as a Fitter or in a similar role is highly desirable. Proficiency in reading technical drawings and schematics is essential. Familiarity with various hand tools, power tools, and fitting techniques is required. Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure are beneficial. A background in mechanical engineering or related fields would be an advantage.
