Role: Fitter - Willenhall/Birmingham

45 hours per week - Monday to Friday

About you:

Are you a determined individual with experience working within Plant Hire, HGV, Heavy Plant & Machinery Industry? If so, an exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Plant Fitter to join our talented and highly respected team at our Birmingham Depot.

You will be responsible for servicing and carrying out repairs on our fleet of over 3000 Machines with an average fleet age of 3 years, (telehandlers, excavators, dumpers and rollers).

About The Role:

Carry out routine servicing as per manufacture specifications.

Carry out pre-delivery inspections ensuring the machine is fit for hire.

Identify damaged or defective parts and carry out necessary repairs.

Diagnose and repair machine faults.

Carry out welding & fabrication repairs or modifications.

Comply with company health, safety and environmental policies.

About You:

NVQ in Plant maintenance (desirable).

Experience of working with in the Plant Hire industry (desirable).

Competent in driving and operating Plant Hire equipment (desirable).

Be able to work as part of a small team as well as working independently.

Ability to ensure all work is completed to a high standard.

Excellent organisational skills with attention to detail.

Excellent time management skills.

Ensure tasks are completed in a timely manner.

Good mechanical knowledge of Plant Hire equipment.

Have possession of your own tools (bespoke tools required supplied).
