Job Summary

Simpsons London is a bespoke furniture and mirror manufacturer and is looking for someone to join our workshop team based in Ongar, Essex. We are seeking a reliable Drive/Fitter/Bench Worker who can install our bespoke furniture on-site and assist with some benchwork in our workshop.

Duties

Install and fit furniture and mirrors at customer locations Communicate effectively with the dispatch team and customers regarding delivery schedules. Assist with bench work in our workshop Drive a commercial van to deliver goods to designated locations throughout the UK. Perform routine checks on the vehicle to ensure it is in good working condition. Ability to problem-solve and work towards deadlines while maintaining quality.

Requirements

Proven experience in furniture installation, bench work or in a similar role is required Good communication skills and customer service skills Ability to handle heavy lifting when loading and unloading goods Work independently and in a team Be in possession of a valid UK driving license
