Job Description

An opportunity has arisen for a Fitter/Fabricator/Welder to work in a diverse mechanical engineering evironment.

Duties will be varied and may include fabrication, welding, pipefitting, plant maintenance and site installations.

Work will be mainly at local clients sites or workshop based. Occasional overnight stays and weekend working may be required.

Skills

Mechanical background. Knowledge of general workshop equipment such as saws & drills. Competency in the use of hand tools and power tools. Able to operate forklift trucks & MEWPS would be an advantage (training/licenses will be provided). Fabrication & welding experience. A full UK driving license would be an advantage. Must be able to work safely in an engineering workshop & at clients sites.

Benefits

Hours of work

Standard hours

39 hours per week, 7.30am - 4.00pm Monday - Thursday, 7.30am - 3.00pm Friday

Overtime paid daily over these hours.
