Dove Door Services are seeking a motivated and dedicated Fitter's Mate to support our skilled engineers in various tasks. As a critical member of our team, you will assist with manual labour, driving responsibilities, and emergency callouts on alternate weeks. This is a fantastic opportunity to gain hands-on experience and develop your skills. The successful applicant will be paired in a two person team with one of our existing skilled fitters.

Competitive overtime rates: 1.5x base rate for overtime and 2x base rate for callout. This means we pay overtime at 18.83 per hour and callout for breakdown at 25.10 per hour.

Key Responsibilities:
- Assist engineers with the installation and servicing of industrial doors and equipment
- Share driving responsibilities and cover work across the Midlands and surrounding areas
- Perform manual lifting, work on ladders and access equipment, and use various tools
- Participate in emergency breakdown callouts on a rotating schedule
What We are Looking For:
- Experience in a manual labour role and on-site work

A clean UK driver's license is essential
- Ability to assemble and fit components accurately
- A positive attitude and a willingness to work as part of a team
- Engineering experience is looked upon favourably.
