Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Welder/Fitter to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong mechanical knowledge and be proficient in various welding techniques. This role involves fabricating and assembling metal components, ensuring high-quality standards are met throughout the production process.

Responsibilities

Fabricate and assemble metal structures and components according to specifications. Operate power tools and hand tools effectively to complete tasks. Perform welding operations on mild steel and stainless steel conveyor components. Read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints to understand project requirements. Conduct quality checks on finished products to ensure they meet specification. Install conveyor systems on site and test in production. Flexible with traveling through out the UK and Ireland on install and maintenance projects when required. Maintain a clean and safe working environment by adhering to safety protocols. Collaborate with team members to optimise workflow and efficiency in the production process.

Skills

Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot equipment issues. Proficient in fabricating metal components from raw materials. Basic maths skills for measurements and calculations during fabrication processes. Experience using power tools and hand tools safely and effectively. Skilled in welding techniques, particularly mig and tig Ability to assemble complex structures accurately based on technical specifications.
