Locations required: Bournemouth, Portsmouth, Bognor Regis, Southampton



An excellent opportunity has arisen to join our existing Build Team team working nationwide.

The Fixed Line Field Engineer will deliver all ongoing build requirements across the Region. Day to day work to vary from carrying out Patching on CF network and provide support on faults, MDU Build and ERS.

The key aspects of the role are:



Blow / Splice / Test of fibre cables across MDU and Infill workstreams Physical build on MDU projects Patching of CF network at SN/ASN level Fault finding across live networks.

Qualifications & Experience



Essential:

SA001 Working knowledge of fibre networks Ability to climb / work at height Full UK drivers license
Desirable:

Industry experience working on BT, CityFibre and Virgin Media networks Understanding of MDU build S7, S8 IPAF NRSWA Unit 2 VM Passport SA002, SA20, KB

Skills & Knowledge:



Essential:



Ability to work under own guidance Professional Can do attitude Time management Communication Suitable DBS check Health and safety awareness

Desirable:



Familiar with telecoms diagrams / information Blow, splice and testing experience IOLM / OTDR / Light meter reading MDU Build knowledge Firestopping Safe use of power and hand tools
