Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Service Engineer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing exceptional technical support and maintenance services to our clients. This role requires a strong understanding of engineering principles and the ability to troubleshoot complex systems. The Service Engineer will play a crucial role in ensuring customer satisfaction through effective problem-solving and timely service delivery.

Duties

Conduct regular maintenance and inspections of equipment to ensure optimal performance. Diagnose and resolve technical issues in a timely manner, both on-site and remotely. Provide training and support to clients on the proper use of equipment. Collaborate with the engineering team to improve product reliability and performance. Maintain accurate records of service activities, including reports on repairs and maintenance performed. Assist in the installation of new equipment, ensuring compliance with safety standards. Respond promptly to service requests and maintain effective communication with clients throughout the process.

Experience

A degree or equivalent qualification in Engineering or a related field is preferred. Proven experience in a similar role, preferably within the engineering or manufacturing sector. Experience in hydraulics Experienced machinist, milling, turning grinding etc. Strong technical skills with the ability to troubleshoot mechanical and electrical systems. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with a focus on customer service. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team, demonstrating strong organisational skills. Familiarity with health and safety regulations relevant to the industry is advantageous.
