Flat Roofer

Introduction:

John Flowers Ltd has an exciting opportunity to join our growing business as a Flat Roofer. This role will be part of our expanding maintenance team based in Washington, North East England, covering work primarily within a 100-mile radius of our office, with occasional travel beyond that area.

About the Role:

The successful candidate should possess and be able to demonstrate a combination of qualities including:

Roofing experience (minimum 1 year preferred) CSCS card (required) Ability to work confidently at heights Good level of physical fitness Excellent hand-eye coordination Awareness of health and safety regulations Strong attention to detail Good written and verbal communication skills Full UK driving license (desirable) Desire for career development (desirable)

Key Responsibilities:

The key responsibilities of the role will include all aspects of flat roofing, including:

Carrying out roofing installation and maintenance works across various projects Working at height and following all site safety protocols Ensuring all works are completed to a high standard and within deadlines Communicating effectively with team members and supervisors Maintaining a clean and safe working environment Contributing positively to a professional and respectful team culture
