Overview

We are looking for an experienced and reliable Flat Roofer to join our growing team. The role involves carrying out high-quality flat roofing works on domestic, commercial, and public sector properties across Scotland. You will be expected to work safely, efficiently, and to a high standard, ensuring all works are completed in line with current regulations and company procedures.

Key Responsibilities:

Installation, repair, and maintenance of flat roofing systems including bituminous felt, torch-on membranes, liquid roofing systems, and associated waterproofing works Stripping existing flat roofs and preparing surfaces for new installations Installing insulation systems, vapour control layers, and waterproof membranes Carrying out detailing works such as upstands, outlets, edge trims, and penetrations Identifying defects and reporting additional works where required Working at height using ladders, scaffolding, and MEWPs where applicable Ensuring all work is completed in compliance with health and safety regulations Maintaining a clean and safe working environment on site Working effectively as part of a team and following instructions from supervisors

Requirements:

Proven experience in flat roofing Knowledge of torch-on felt systems and/or liquid roofing systems SVQ in Waterproof Membrane Roofing Systems (Construction) - Reinforced Bitumen Membrane Roofing at SCQF Level 5 (preferred but not essential) Ability to work at height and in all weather conditions Strong understanding of health and safety practices Full UK driving licence (essential) CSCS card preferred IPAF, PASMA, or asbestos awareness training beneficial but not essential
