We have an exciting opportunity for a
Fleet and Logistics Assistant
to join our dedicated team. This is a hands-on role, perfect for someone who thrives in a dynamic environment, enjoys problem solving, and takes pride in keeping operations running smoothly. You will play a key part in ensuring our fleet and equipment are always ready to support our front line teams, from fully equipped ambulances to rapid response vehicles and event support units.
Main Responsibilities and Duties
Managing
stock control
and placing
orders
with a range of trusted suppliers.
Coordinating
medical equipment servicing and repairs
to ensure everything is fit for purpose.
Liaising with contractors for
vehicle servicing, maintenance and repairs
.
Maintaining
accurate electronic records
of all maintenance and repair activity.
Assisting with
basic repair tasks
and maintenance around the base and fleet.
Ensuring
all vehicles are clean, stocked and operationally ready
for deployment.
Scheduling and facilitating
regular maintenance
across all CIPHER vehicles.
Supporting
fleet and logistics requests
from operational teams.
Proactively identifying and implementing
efficiency improvements
within the department.
Maintaining and updating the
asset register
.
Working flexibly to meet operational needs, including working rostered weekends.
Essential Skills and Competencies
We are looking for someone who is organised, proactive and ready to get stuck in. You will need to be able to think on your feet, adapt quickly and maintain a calm, professional approach under pressure.
Full UK manual Driving Licence (C1 Licence desirable but can be worked towards)maximum of 3 penalty points).
Strong
IT and computer literacy
, with confidence using different software packages.
Excellent
communication and teamwork
skills.
Ability to
work independently
and take initiative.
Flexible and adaptable approach to working hours and tasks.

Previous experience in a
fleet, logistics or maintenance role

Knowledge or interest in
medical equipment and vehicle operations

Experience working with
Mac systems
.
Entry level qualifications in technical skills E.G electrics, mechanics or property maintenance.
A flexible approach to supporting wider operational needs.
